Coffee Liqueur (currently sold out)
We used a Brazilian bean for our Coffee Liqueur this year, and roasted them in house. We prefer naturally processed beans, meaning that the drying process takes place with the fruit still in contact with the bean. The final product has more husk, as some of that fruit still remains attached, giving it a slightly sweeter quality. We roast the beans until they are medium/dark, then grind them to be soaked in 80 proof spirit for several days. Think of it like making very boozy cold-brew coffee. The final product is rich with coffee and chocolate flavors, without even a hint of bitterness.
